03/05/2018Sonnet, your leadership is amazing. Thank you so much for helping our community move beyond these shadows and into the light.

My name is Dave Lawson, and my middle daughter Sonnet attends Lake Oswego Junior High School. There was an incident of racist hate speech at her school about about a month ago. She was so moved, that she came home and asked if we could have a march to raise awareness, against bullying, racism and sexism. I could not have been more proud and said yes! The total cost of renting out part of Forest Hills Elementary School, the special event permit, and liability insurance totals around $1,900. Please consider making a donation to help pay for this event.
When? Saturday, April 7, 9:00am-noon
Where? Forest Hills Elementary School, Lake Oswego, Oregon
We need the money by Friday, March 16th!
Thank you so much for your time, consideration, and donation if you’re able. If you can’t make a donation, and live nearby, feel free to join us, and raise awareness about equality!
