Meraki Life Unlimited LLC
Through my career as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) providing mental health skills building services to individuals with mental health disabilities (most also with intellectual and/or physical limitations as well) along with my daughters career as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) I realized there are many individuals who need assistance but cannot qualify for coverage through insurance for various reasons. I decided to start a hybrid non-medical home care, companion care, transportation and skills building service that would operate on an income based sliding scale. This will help provide affordable assistance, with or without insurance, for individuals who would otherwise go without.
Meraki is a Greek word used to describe doing something with soul, creativity, or love- putting “something of yourself” into what you're doing. I have started Meraki Life Unlimited LLC in the same small area of Virginia that I was born and raised in. Serving those individuals close to home and my heart here in Bedford and Campbell Counties in some way is what I have dreamed of doing since childhood. I love to serve others and have several very dear friends who struggle to maintain their approval for the assistance they need or have lost it completely. These individuals have inspired me to start this business which I hope to grow so that no one has to be alone and struggle with their basic needs which most of us take for granted.
I am raising funds to provide basic office needs-file folders, copy paper/ink for existing printer and for marketing materials such as business cards, rack cards or brochures and a vehicle decal or magnet for Meraki Life Unlimited LLC. The funds will provide the resources needed so that I can build a business doing what I love, serving others who otherwise would not receive needed assistance. Any funds raised that are not used for some very basic office supplies and marketing materials will be set aside to be used to provide up to a 50% subsidy to individuals who cannot afford the minimum hourly rate of $7.50.
Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and you will most certainly be blessed in return for your willingness to help others in need.
