Frankie O'Shaughnessy is one of six students at Timmerman Elementary who decided to join forces to create a Destination Imagination team in the Fall of 2016. They named their team "The Silent but Deadlies", to this dismay of the only boy on the team. The girls out voted him for the name.

These students dedicated their afternoons, weekends and school holidays to working on their project, which included helping to send girls to school in Cambodia. Their skit for Ready Willing and Fable, written and directed by them about little girl mice who work in the dump trying to raise money for their families, plus their Instant Challenge skills won them first place at regionals. They went to Lubbock for the State competition and they won there too. Now, they are going to the Global competition in Knoxville in May.

Between each of the competitions they continue to practice and adjust their skit, improving it each time.

They are now the sole elementary team representing Pflugerville. With this great honor unfortunately comes the need to raise $1200 each to travel to Tennessee to compete. We are hoping our family, friends and community will help support Frankie's journey to Globals.
