Tribe Judah Ministries
is a relatively new ministry. We began having services in 2011. Our sole wish is to be a beacon of light in our community; to bear witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ -- the One Who brings HOPE!
We are thrilled to have opportunity to serve the Starkville community and the Golden Triangle area. We are a young and small ministry, but we're doing big things. We have always first to offer assistance when the need arises, providing spiritual and physical support. When Hurricane Katrina, and local tornadoes struck, we readily gave water and food items, then conducted a drive for additional food, water, paper goods, and cleaning supplies. Members from our congregation went on clean-up missions throughout the State.
During hard times community members routinely stop by for assistance. Although we don't have resources to help everybody, we are always there with encouragement and direction, sometimes referring, and coordinating help from other agencies. Even if we can't give a handout, we can lend a hand up! Every year we give groceries, clothing and toys for needy children. We work with our local Salvation Army to adopt families for Christmas. We've provided Turkeys & Hams and other items for complete holidays meals.
We continue to serve our community by providing quality, affordable daycare, after-school care and tutoring services at Tribe's Lil Treasures. Our loving staff of 5 is dedicated to the safety, growth, and well-being of more than 40 children. Despite challenges, we know we're on the right track, because many of our After School children are on Honor Roll, thanks to the extra help they get here.
Our ministry is also liaison for the Child Development Embassy (CDE) in Uganda, East Africa. We coordinate the annual award of roughly $3000 each year. If you'd like to know more about this program, request more info at: Child Development Embassy Ambassador Info

Although we have made many significant improvements to our building, we still have much more to do. The property was formerly an alternative school, then remained vacated for 7 years. Left in ill repair for such an extended period, we've done all that we can, personally and sacrificially do, to make it our own. Our members have worked faithfully and tirelessly to drywall, paint and so much more. Many of our members are on fixed incomes. Others have seasonal occupations at Mississippi State University.
We are super grateful for all that God has allowed us to get done and for the disciples of the Tribe that have worked so diligently!
We are in need of several more improvements to our facility in order to be effective in our assignment. A new roof is urgently needed. That alone, came in at a whopping estimate of $32,000!
We have limited resources, and in order to complete the necessary improvements, we urgently need your help! We are a Federally approved, 501(c)3 organization, and EVERY DOLLAR you give is TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Won't you consider giving a gift of any size TODAY. Thank You in advance.
We would forever be grateful to you for helping us and our community!
